Daniel is a final year Honours student at the University of Sydney. Having grown up in Canberra, lived in a little town in Iowa, and spent the past several years in Sydney, Daniel knows how big a role municipal government can play in building sustainable and compassionate communities. Daniel’s working life has been characterised by his commitment to social justice, having worked for Bernie Sanders’ Presidential campaign in the United States, and fought for students’ rights by leading his University’s student union. Over 40% of the Vaucluse ward is under 34 years old. Daniel firmly believes that Woollahra Council is at its best when its Councillors represent our community’s diversity.
