As a young person residing within the Cessnock LGA, I’m running for council as a voice for the future of our region. I’m committed to amplifying the voices of our community in decision-making on developments, sustainability and the environment.

I live and work in the Upper Hunter, spending the majority of my free time in our beautiful local bushland. Having recently taken on an internship with a local environmental committee, I’m passionate about personal development that will further empower me to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to council.  I will provide sustainable and practical change to the people of Cessnock and surrounds.

Having almost completed my third year at the University of Newcastle undertaking a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management, I’ve been lucky enough to have participated in several community building and environmental projects both locally and overseas. As such, it’s my goal to bring the skills I’ve learned throughout this time to achieve favorable outcomes for our community through communication, compromise and understanding on relevant issues. I am focused on the future, but won’t neglect the contemporary needs and context of our area.

I’m extremely proud to be working with the Greens towards the resolution of issues that matter to me, and would be honored to represent you as Councillor.
