The ballot paper order for the Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council has been decided and we’ve drawn first spot – Group A, above the line.
It’s a wide field of candidates with 10 groups and four ungrouped candidates vying for 11 seats. Councillors elect the mayor, rather than a direct election for that position.

Last QPRC election, around one in five voters either didn’t cast a ballot or voted informally. We encourage all voters to make the most of their right to vote to help shape the future we want for our community.
Check out the candidates online, attend meet-the-candidate events close to you and keep an eye on local media outlets that will be publishing candidate profiles as we head towards election day on 4 December.
