Candidate for Inner West Council – Gulgadya (Leichhardt) Ward

I’m passionate about making housing in the Inner West affordable. Your council should work for you, not developers.I’m a long term Inner West resident and I work in local government at the City of Sydney.I love the diversity of our community, our creative spaces and natural environment. We are a community that cares for each other.This is a great place to live but it can be even better. Our Council isn’t getting the basics right. The Greens have a plan for a council that listens to the community and works to preserve what is special about our local area.I want to protect what’s best in our community while making housing more affordable and reducing cost of living pressures on residents. We need better transport options and to rejuvenate Norton St. and our local parks and community facilities.I’m committed to listening to the community and making Council more responsive to our needs.
