Our community needs more engaged, more transparent governance. We need Councillors who will listen to, and act for community.We are in a financial mess because previous Councils have been asleep at the wheel. They have given ratepayers money to developers and large projects overlooking the need for long term infrastructure investment.As a long-term resident I value the environmental and cultural assets of Kempsey Shire, from the mountains to the sea. We have access to a pristine hinterland, beautiful beaches, and coastal villages. We need development to be appropriate and affordable, building a future that uses the natural advantages of our Shire, and accessible to all residents.
