The same old tired way of doing things isn't delivering the results our community deserves. Years of prioritising developer interests over quality, sustainable development and community wellbeing means our city is growing without the essential infrastructure it needs and people and the environment are getting left behind.

For the past 8 years, the Greens have held a seat on Albury City Council. Geoff is proud to have the opportunity to continue the great work of previous Greens councillors Dr Amanda Cohn and Ashley Edwards. The Greens have the strongest track reccord on climate action, supporting development that meets the needs of future communities, and diversity and inclusion.

On council, I continue to fight for more public open space and the retention of native vegetation as habitat for our local endangered wildlife including large hollow bearing trees and paddock trees in residential subdivisions.

If re-elected to Albury Council, The Greens will take action to improve housing affordability, tackle the cost of living crisis, fight climate change and protect our local environment, support sustainable development and improved public and active transport options for residents, make Albury a more accessible and inclusive community and strengthen local democracy.
