· Greens Councillors were pleased to approve the Edgecliff Centre Strategy to bring a coordinated approach to the uplift in this commercial centre and deliver more affordable housing
· We support a coordinated, strategic approach to planning believe this is required to stop developers dictating the future character of our area.
· Woollahra’s strategic plans and planning instruments are our last line of defence in a broken NSW planning system.
· We need to stop developers writing the rules and making greedy gains that destroy amenity and neighbourhood character. We need to return community needs to the centre of planning.
· Greens will continue to push for the delivery of affordable housing in perpetuity
· Greens supported the retention of existing affordable stock on New South Head Rd as recommended by staff
