Matthew works in the not-for-profit community sector, focussing on homelessness and mental health. Matthew has lived in Paddington for 10 years and served the last five on Council. As a passionate defender of heritage, Matthew has achieved new protections for timber cottages and the retention of the 9.5 meter maximum height control in Council’s new LEP. Matthew has worked hard towards activating Oxford Street and opposed overdevelopment at White City. His support for Woollahra’s campaign against forced amalgamations has been unwavering. Matthew has highlighted the issue around Paddington’s reunification in one council area as well as the threats to heritage conservation posed by the NSW Government’s amalgamation agenda.
