Monika Ball

Councillor for Hornsby - Ward B

I’m an advocate for building resilient communities, waste reduction and living responsibly.

My aim is to empower my community to think ethically, collaborate and connect.
Greed and globalisation have created systems and products that exploit humans, animals and our environment. The localisation movement offers a richer life experience as it connects us with our community and provides more security.
I will continue to work with my community to embrace diversity, reclaim our streets, grow more food, reduce consumption, and protect and enhance our green open spaces. I will campaign for better public transport, connected green cycle ways, affordable housing and responsible design.
