The State Government has a rare opportunity to act NOW to protect this precious place in public ownership in perpetuity.

The State Government has a once in a lifetime opportunity to secure an outstandingly important parcel of land in the Blue Mountains National Park, as called for by environmental groups for decades.

All that is needed is some political will and a relatively small sum of money for the Government to act swiftly and to acquire the land in public ownership before the proposed auction to profit-driven property developers on 18 June 2024.

We’re calling on our local member and Parliamentary Secretary For the Environment Trish Doyle and Environment Minister Penny Sharpe to take action now to protect this country.
