Dylan Griffiths
candidate for Djarrawunang (Ashfield) Ward in the Inner West Council
Izabella Antoniou
My name is Izabella Antoniou, I’m a renter, writer, community advocate and I’ve been lucky enough to be living in the Inner West my entire adult life. I’m running to be your Ashfield- Djarrawunang Councillor because of the overlapping crisis of housing, cost of living and climate change is tearing our communities apart.
All of us in the Inner West know how to look after one another. We have shown each other time and time again that we want to see our communities thrive. We stand up for what’s right and ensure our neighbors get what they need, from making sure people are fed, picketing decision makers for justice, to community book clubs.
Council has untapped potential to deliver more on the things we need – affordable, accessible housing, spaces available to everyone and services that focus on the community not profit.
I’m excited to help push the Inner West to continue to serve our community in bigger and better ways, on housing, childcare, youth services and climate action.
You can help push for real change this election. Help us fight for change that will affect people’s everyday lives and and represent our communities progressive values.
Together we can challenge what is possible at the local government level.
Councils providing affordable housing

For many, the amount needed for a home loan deposit seems insurmountable, with the inability to become a homeowner tied to intergenerational inequality.
