As candidate, my engagement with my community focuses on environmentally sustainable living in a balanced framework for local residents and businesses. Using this approach, I will collaborate for the maintenance and decision making of our Blue Mountains local issues
I will continue to advocate for a Rights of Nature framework to protect our mountain parks and waters, stronger and more extensive development of local businesses and the restructure of senior and aging health services in alternative housing models. I live in the Blue Mountains and operate my own litigation law practice, litigating human rights cases and serving disadvantaged sectors of the community against large institutional injustices.
As an engineer in my early days, and an investment banker and a member of the ASX, I seek better development of the renewable energy industry and to phase out coal use.
I have run four times for both State and Federal seats in the Blue Mountains and Penrith.
I am a granddad representing fifth generation of Chinese Australians. I serve as President of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association and President of the Chinese Community Council of Australia, as well a director of the not-for-profit NSW Stoma.
I will advocate for the Springwood business community and its township development and services and to ensure vibrant and cohesive communities.
