Kofi Isaacs is a local arts technician who moved to Albury to study in 2015.

Kofi worked alongside a group of other young people in 2018 to build the Albury School Strike 4 Climate (SS4C) – one of the largest regional climate strike movements in Australia.

Dedicated to building a more inclusive, caring and progressive community in Albury, Kofi believes that council has an important role to play in enhancing our community’s resilience, providing accessible infrastructure, supporting local wellness programs and making decisions that bolster our local economy

Kofi loves swimming in the beautiful Murray River on a hot summer’s day (as well as making the occasional polar plunge in winter!) and appreciates the natural parklands and lookouts that are scattered across this stunning Wiradjuri land. He enjoys the delicious local produce of our bakeries and cafes and our vibrant arts and live music scene.

Kofi believes we need a diverse council representing our community, with a youth voice and continued investment in youth programs such as the Retro Cafe and the youth council. He is dedicated to making decisions to improve the long-term liveability of our city, and making Albury a place to grow up and grow old for future generations.
