The next term of Council runs the risk of budget cuts to important services or sale of public land, particularly if the Liberals gain control of the Council. Council also continues to under-invest in environmental compliance and local conservation initiatives.

As an environment and planning lawyer, current Councillor, and former director of a community owned solar energy investor, I bring a collaborative, knowledgeable and measured approach to solving local environmental and social challenges. I currently chair the Council's Environment Strategic Reference Group and Manly Dam Advisory committee.

Your Greens councillors on Northern Beaches Council have helped drive policy to make our area more sustainable and inclusive. We stopped budget cuts to local domestic violence and homelessness services, helped to reform Council's approach to using chemicals and management of weeds, introduced new initiatives to celebrate Pride, and have progressed local housing affordability policies.

As Greens, we are transparent what we stand for. We will always prioritise ecological sustainability, social justice, and local democracy. We are committed to these values and are accountable to our local group and community.
