I ran for the Greens in the Local Government Elections and NSW State elections twice since 2016. I have been a community builder in Sydney's Inner West and Inner South West for over 30 years working on campaigns and co-created events that draw attention to many environmental and social justice issues.

I have more recently campaigned for Indigenous rights, Justice for Palestine, urgent action on climate change, as well as for LGBTQI rights, against domestic violence and for the rollout of sustainable energy and community-friendly public transport.

I believe the Bayside area needs a transparent and accountable council that plans to bring people together to co-create better decisions to tackle today's problems and promote peace and community cohesion. We need safe, sustainable, livable and connected communities of equal opportunity not a divided urban environment with unplanned overdevelopment, dwindling air quality, vanishing tree canopy and green spaces. We need more community celebrating events to support local art and music.

Together we are strong, we need to celebrate the unique and diverse Bayside community and nurture a safe space for everyone.

To create sustainable peace, it's important to stand up for justice. The major parties have been complicit in allowing genocide in Palestine, this is absolutely not acceptable, Council can have a role to challenge this situation and represent the views of its communities.

The Greens do not accept corporate vested interest donations, we will listen to the people of Bayside and help co-create policies that put people and the natural environment first.
