Council needs to seek immediate funding and begin plans for a year round aquatic centre for every Ward across Maitland
Access to a basic year round aquatic centre is an essential need for the people of Maitland. As our population continues to grow our community deserves to have access to public recreation and physical exercise all year round. Beyond this basic need, a year round aquatic centre will deliver for the people of Maitland seeking physical rehabilitation and requiring additional assistance with their recreational exercise. We want to support a healthier city with amenities and recreation that works for everyone all year round.
