I have advocated strongly for our smaller communities to ensure their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. I've asked the hard questions and I'm fighting hard for you to get our water fixed!

I've worked to make our streets and roads across the Yass Valley safer, particularly for pedestrians. Footpaths in older areas, if they exist at all, too often fail to meet the needs of young families, the elderly and those with disabilities. This must change. Good footpaths are also vital both within new developments and to link them to established areas.

I chair Council's Sustainability Advisory Committee, constantly striving to improve Council's approach to sustainability and climate action. The committee has already developed a framework for ensuring long term sustainability and is looking at more efficient waste management strategies to reduce our cost of living.
