Natalie Hanna

Candidate for Canterbury-Bankstown Council - Revesby Ward

I'm a mum, a millennial, a volunteer and I work in green energy. I will stand up for our local community, putting people and planet first ahead of vested interests.

As the first Greens councillor on the Revesby/Bunya ward, I will advocate to keep and increase Council owned housing to address the housing affordability crisis, plan for climate resilience and address energy poverty by strengthening requirements for well insulated homes for renters and homeowners.
I will advocate for Council to proactively invest in a non-fossil fuel investment portfolio. I will advocate to install shade on our playgrounds, increase tree cover to combat the urban heat island effect and fight to retain remnant bushland in our area to maintain our local biodiversity.
My achievements include: I successfully applied for grant funding of $28,000 to install solar panels at Revesby South Public School in conjunction with Canterbury Bankstown Council's Solar My School program. I have experience running as a candidate for the Greens in the 2022 Federal Election for the seat of Banks and the 2023 State Election for the seat of East Hills.
