Lane Cove is a beautiful and diverse place to live, but disappointingly, our local council has done back room deals to elect a climate-denying mayor, outsource essential council services and reduce accountability and transparency of the decisions which impact the lives of all Lane Cove residents. In September, your vote can change the way that council works so that your voice, and things that matter to you are taken seriously by your elected councillors.

During my time in Greenwich, I have been struck by the amazing local initiatives taking place in our Lane Cove, and if elected I would work to ensure that council recognises and provides support to the work being done by residents. Together, we can change the way that council works and deliver a more caring, supportive and equitable community which better represents Lane Cove residents.

By electing second Greens councillor, together we will: Provide affordable council-run services including childcare, sports facilities, community shuttle buses, and more; ensure transparency and accountability by reinstating the public forum at Council meetings; drive local climate action and environmental protection to maintain our spectacular natural resources; and, deliver affordable housing with appropriate infrastructure according to residents needs, not developer greed.

Lane Cove needs a council that respects and supports the amazing, passionate work being done by our residents. On September 14th we can change the make up of our council so that it works for all residents."
