Save the 370 Bus Route

The Greens City of Sydney campaign and Greens MP Jamie Parker are supporting community calls to save the 370 bus route from a proposal to divide the route in half at Sydney University.

Our public transport system should be designed to get people around our city quickly, cheaply and easily.

But after the privatisation of Eastern Sydney bus services, big changes have been proposed for the 370 bus route. From the end of 2021 this service will terminate at Sydney University, cutting off the direct connection to Glebe, Annandale and Leichhardt.

While a new 469 service will be introduced it will mean passengers travelling from Glebe, Annandale or Leichhardt have to change buses at City Road to continue on to Newtown, Marrickville or Coogee.

In a lightning fast process, the NSW Government closed its consultation process on June 30.

Will you sign the petition calling on the Government to save the 370 bus route?

Dear Minister,

I am writing to express my concern over plans to cut the 370 bus service between the University of Sydney and Leichhardt. The changes will make it harder for people in Glebe and Leichhardt to access the hospital, King St and the beach.

These plans have been made with little community input and a lightning fast consultation process.

I ask you to withdraw the planned changes to the 370 and allow community voices to be heard.

Yours sincerely,
