Our community needs more engaged, more transparent governance. We need Councillors who will listen to, and act for community.

We are in a financial mess because previous Councils have been asleep at the wheel. They have given ratepayers money to developers and large projects overlooking the need for long term infrastructure investment.

As a long-term resident I value the environmental and cultural assets of Kempsey Shire, from the mountains to the sea. We have access to a pristine hinterland, beautiful beaches, and coastal villages. We need development to be appropriate and affordable, building a future that uses the natural advantages of our Shire, and accessible to all residents. I have worked across our whole community for 35 years as an educator, an RFS volunteer, a citizen scientist, and an advocate for social justice.

Vote 1 Arthur Bain for Mayor, and 1 above the line for The Greens, and together we can build a fairer, healthier future for Kempsey Shire. With just a few hundred more votes, we can elect a second Greens Councilor.
