I am running for Council with the Greens to be part of change in the here and now. It's very simple - our environment and community must be prioritised over corporate interests.

The Greens position has always been that Western Sydney Airport should never have been built. The major parties didn't listen to the experts who advised against putting this carbon and noise pollution megaproject in the Sydney basin. Residents are now going to have to live with the harmful consequences under flight paths.

Having lived and worked in the Blue Mountains for the last 16 years, I understand the diversity of residents and their local values and concerns. I have lived in various villages and am now in Woodford. I am an academic with a PhD from Sydney University and have spent many years supporting the coordination and funding of youth arts programs and emerging arts networks in the Mountains.

I am passionate about heritage preservation and my advocacy in preserving historic buildings has been recognised by the National Trust.

We need a strong Greens team on Council to advocate for community interests as a priority.

As a Councillor, I would be honoured to represent the needs of Ward 4, to protect the local environment and represent community concerns.
