Hi, I’m Dominic, your Greens Councillor and 2024 Candidate for Bellingen Shire Council.
Jennie Fenton
I am running for a third term on Council. Across the previous eight years, I have championed a lot of progressive outcomes in the Shire.
Alison Heeley
I have lived in Bellingen on Gumbaynggirr Country for 15 years. Upon moving to Bellingen, I co-founded the first iteration of the Bellofoodbox initiative, which supported local farmers, strengthened local food systems, educated community about eating seasonally, and offered healthy fresh produce for an accessible price.
Wendy Firefly
I am standing as a candidate in the Bellingen Council elections as I believe in creating a balanced society within a balanced environment, and finding efficient solutions that don’t cost the earth.

Meet the candidate – Alison Heeley
Alison is a new candidate for the Bellingen Shire Greens, joining the ticket for the September local election. She has experience working in youth mental health, aged care, carer support and advocacy, community development, social housing, and community and local food resilience programs.
